Our Staff Home Boarding gives your dog the comfort of a home with people you trust. Care is provided by pet first aid certified team members trained in dog behaviour. We adjust the space to fit your dog, whether they enjoy social time or need a quiet area. Each day includes exercise and enrichment based on their needs, from walks and play to brain games.

Your dog can stay in the comfort of their own home with a trusted Pliant Pack team member. This is a great fit for dogs who prefer familiar spaces or homes with other pets who don’t travel well. Our sitters are pet first aid certified and trained to care for a wide range of animals. Each day includes exercise and enrichment based on your pet’s needs, from walks and park time to brain games and structured activities.

This type of boarding is best for dogs who have behavioural challenges that may be exacerbated by stress and change.
We also include an in-person meeting in your home about a week before your booking. You’ll meet your sitter, share key details about your home and pets, and ask any questions you may have.
Board
& Train
During a Board and Train, your dog lives in a trainer’s home and follows a focused training plan built around your goals. With clear structure and professional handling, your dog learns faster and more effectively. This strong foundation makes it easier to continue training when they return home.

A private training session is required prior to booking a board and train for a few reasons:

To allow the trainer and owner to get on the same page about the dog’s behaviour

To decide on how long of a board and train will be necessary to see enough improvement for the behaviour to be manageable for the owner upon their return

To allow the owner to work on some of the easier training or house rules prior to the board and train, which will mean the trainer will be working on the more difficult behaviours and not spending the initial several days doing things the owner may be able to do at home

Board & Train
Rigorous Training Programs for Your Dog

Regular nightly boarding fee + an additional fee of $200/night for board and train service​

Price includes a 45 minute to 1 hour training session at the time dog goes home.

Please note Staff Home Boarding does not include individualized training. Please ask about our Board & Train service if you would like to add training to your dog’s stay!

Board & Train Requests will be approved based on trainer availability and behaviour urgency/severity.

We do not offer Board and Train services for dogs with separation anxiety due to the stress of being in a new environment and stress of physical separation from family. We recommend private training or our online Separation Anxiety Class as an alternative.
